Tasting Notes
This Carménère reveals a deep ruby color with vibrant purple reflections. The nose is expressive and aromatic, offering notes of ripe blackberries, plum, and dark cherries, along with hints of pepper, tobacco, and herbs.

Intense and complex aromas have hints of cherry, blackberry and a touch of ripened green pepper. A reddish-purple colour stands out in the glass. Full-bodied on the palate, with well integrated acidity and a nice tannic structure that provides a long and lasting finish.

Undurraga T.H Carignan Maule is a full-bodied and complex red wine produced in the Maule Valley of Chile. This wine is made from 100% Carignan grapes, which are carefully selected and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months to give the wine its rich and elegant flavor profile. The wine has a deep ruby color, with aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and a hint of tobacco.

Cocoa, baked plum, toast, culinary spice and leather aromas shape the nose. Full bodied and elegant, the smooth, dense palate doles out fleshy black cherry, blackberry jam, licorice and clove while velvety tannins provide structure. It closes on an espresso note. Drink through 2027.

CLOUDY BAY Te Koko. The new dialled-back regime for Te Koko works brilliantly in 2019. Gone are the overt tropical flavours, replaced with a vibrant nose of green apple, peach and nettle – framed with soft spice from the oak ageing (there is now nine percent new oak, with much larger vessels used).
