The vineyards are located at an altitude of 350 meters on sheltered terraces. The soil consists mainly of clay and chalk. The cuvée is composed of cinsault, grenache, syrah and rolle. Rolle is the same grape variety as the vermentino known in Italy. 10% of the wine was aged in old wooden barrels to give the wine character and creaminess.

Intense and complex aromas have hints of cherry, blackberry and a touch of ripened green pepper. A reddish-purple colour stands out in the glass. Full-bodied on the palate, with well integrated acidity and a nice tannic structure that provides a long and lasting finish.

Deep, rich, seductive nose with a lovely complex oyster shell and pencil lead quality.
Loaded with black fruit, the mouth is coated with layers of concentrated coffee and liquorice. The opulent, intense fruit is well balanced by the firm but ripe tannins and crunchy acidity. Long and smooth finish.
