Dewar’s double aged for ultimate smoothness. A unique 4-stage ageing process created by Dewar’s first master blender AJ Cameron in 1901. The unique Double Double (4-stage) process allows the whiskies to fuse and ‘marry’ multiple times creating ultimate smoothness.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: The nose at the top is saline and half-and-half, opening up to grass, green herbs and cherry pits.
- Palate: The mouth-feel is exceptional and velvety with caramel creams, wild honey, peach cobbler, smoked pineapple, and toasted oak.
- Finish: Has a lot going for it; all the interesting notes. I still wanted it to be more temperate on my tongue, but I could sit and smell it for a long time
